Divorce Granted After Wife Found in Box Car
Justice A H F Seeger Friday granted a decree of divorce to Jeremiah M Seybolt of Middletown from his wife Loira M Seybolt. They wed in Stillwater New Jersey on November 9 1922. There was no defense as Seybolt and County Detective Charles W Ketcham testified, serving papers after finding the defendant living with a Morgan employee of the Brit railroad in a box car at Graham.

New York Man Buys Otterkill Dairy Estate in Hamptonburgh
W. S. Burns of New York City has purchased the Am brose Monell estate Otterkill Farms in Hamptonburgh totaling 565 acres. The dairy property includes a stone cow barn with 80 stanchions, three silos and certified milk facilities, a 12 room master’s house with four baths, a 12 room superintendent’s house, four helper houses, a $40,000 barn for 96 cows, and over 100 tilled acres. Burns plans to stock the farm with 100 cows next spring and become a leading county milk producer. Pendell bought the farm earlier and sold it with its 25 Jerseys and equipment.

Utility expands fire alarm network and power wiring project
The Chester Village project adds 4 fire alarm lines from the fire house along May Street to East Chester and from the fire house along Main Street toward Greycourt. It includes 30 500 feet of copper wire on 122 poles, two 3 horsepower transformers near the fire house, a 5 horsepower motor generator and pump, and 45 horsepower of transformers for light and power across 20 buildings. The main residence under construction will have 82 circuits with about 10 outlets per circuit.
