Judge orders teen transferred to jail in sexual abuse case

Iowa City judge orders 17 year old Luis Angel Borjas Flores moved from a Cherokee youth facility to Johnson County Jail due to disruptive and assaultive behavior while facing a second degree sexual abuse charge. The teen faces risk to himself and others and will remain jailed until a bed opens at Linn County Juvenile Center. A review hearing is set for Oct. 22 in Johnson County District Court.
