Minnesota falconer runs unique bird rehabilitation clinic
Dr. Patrick Redig operates a university linked clinic in Minnesota rehabilitating eagles hawks and other birds of prey. Since opening seven years ago about 975 birds have been treated with nearly half of the 80 eagles released back to the wild. Birds come from multiple states under Fish and Wildlife Service contracts and are tracked after surgery.
