Cosby’s NBC Premiere Signals Incident Comedy Approach
Hollywood UPI reports Bill Cosby’s new NBC half hour opens the season with an incident comedy style. His strength as a storyteller shines as he plays a high school teacher in vignettes, delivering warm, human insight without a traditional laugh track. The Bold Ones also debuts, shown as a three‑part doctors lawyers and cops drama. Cosby’s premiere focuses on monologue driven humor and realistic street scenes, aiming for a more adult, satisfying video style.
