16th Avenue Lot Opens Saturday

Two Cedar Rapids men James A. Dirkl 23 and Milton Pickart 52 were treated for injuries after a wind caused 2000 pounds of steel equipment to fall from a semi truck at the Iowa Manufacturing Co. Clements aged 19 of Central City were sent to Fort Carson Colorado to train as engineer equipment maintenance men. Two Women Cleared by Linn County Grand Jury
Joyce McCroskey and Beatrice Dye were cleared of murder and manslaughter charges in separate June and May killings.
