Chicago claimed the title of world’s largest livestock market for the second time in seven weeks as it topped Omaha in weekly receipts 108000 to 94500. Three new price records were set at Omaha this week with CG Wagner earning 40 a hundredweight for 23 pound steer calves and Mill winning 49 for 69 steer calves weighing 453 pounds. Viola M. and Boyar Brown received 346 for 25 steer and heifer calves averaging 309 pounds.
