Courthouse annex plan aims to ease space crunch in Johnson County
Officials promote a 33.4 million bond to add a three story annex behind the 1901 Berea sandstone courthouse at 417 S Clinton, enlarging to nine courtrooms, judge offices, and detention cells. The measure requires 60 percent approval and preserves the historic core while improving access, security, and scheduling.
