Cancer survivor meets her life saver at patch in North Liberty

Angela Kearns of Marion met her bone marrow donor Matthew Sabongi of Minneapolis for the first time at the Colony Pumpkin Patch in North Liberty. The pair connected through Be the Match after Kearns battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2009 and 2012, with Sabongi donating marrow in 2012.
