Iowans snag salmon on Cedar River trip report
The Cedar Rapids party led by Harper found fish back fins in shallow water at dawn and faded as sun rose. Friday was the best and least crowded day. Saturday saw heavy bank crowds. Wisconsin DNR spokesman Jim Addis called the run steady but not spectacular, noting a strong boat harvest reducing fish for snaggers.
