Terrible kid linked to grisly Ypsilanti murder spree
Billy Hardesty, 21, described by neighbors as a violent, aggressive youth, is hospitalized in critical condition after a police siege during which five deaths were linked to him. Officers say he faces three first degree murder counts and two counts of assault with intent to commit murder for killings in bars and at a tool and die shop near Ypsilanti. his parents Jan and Ronald Hardesty were found dead in their home and freezer respectively amid the investigation.
