President Carter requests state and county tax offices review about one million dollars of tax credit claims tied to a 1975 peanut sheller valued at 695000 for credits but 375000 for local taxes and a 1976 peanut elevator listed at 367000 for credits and 50000 locally. The White House says legitimate questions exist and a suitable explanation is not yet found.
