Grassley says Miers answers satisfy him on Supreme Court
Iowa senator Grassley said after a 45 minute private talk with Harriet Miers that she probably fits President Bush's wish for a strict constructionist who will not legislate from the bench. He noted he will not announce his position until after hearings and expects she is very conservative based on discussions and the president's knowledge.
