Pumpkin and apple season in Eastern Iowa hit by weather
Pumpkin grower Gary Knight north of Springville reports good pumpkin quality despite smaller sizes due to a dry summer and a May freeze. He sells Little Jack pumpkins at 50 cents each and larger pumpkins by the pound, inviting visitors for an on-farm experience including a corn maze and a Rusty Wallace tribute.
