Cedar Rapids council approves multiple zoning and public works actions
The Cedar Rapids City Council held a regular session approving first and second readings on zoning changes for multiple parcels including Bowman road NE and 1201 Edgewood road SW, plus amendments to a building relocation ordinance. The body adopted sewer, water main, and street project plans and authorized bids, stop signs, parking rules, and street light installations, with numerous easement and right‑of‑way actions and petitions related to development along 1-280, 1-549, and city streets.
