White House police morale lifts after restructuring
The Executive Protective Service reshuffle restores authority to Police Chief Earl Drescher who has been on sick leave. A new special agent in charge will link covert security with the secret service and allow permanent posts. Larry Buendorf, famed for disarming Squeaky Fromme, moves to Denver.
