Camp Clean-Up at Camp Good Health by Cedar Jaycees
Jaycees and their wives spent last Sunday cleaning the interiors of the cabins and ledge at Camp Good Health ahead of its June 12 opening. The camp on old highway 30 east of junction with highway 13 offers a ramping experience for children who otherwise could not attend. It is funded by donations from Gazette subscribers and readers. Pool profits go to charity from Detroit hotel pool
Maite dance men collected 220 in quarters dimes nickels and pennies from the lobby pool at the Detroit Plaza hotel in the Renaissance Center on opening day. Workers cleaned the pool the day after ceremonies and the funds will be donated to a local charity with future cleanings also supporting charities.
