Begin Hospitalized After Relapse Amid Leadership Bid

Right wing leader Menahem Begin, 63, was admitted to Tel Aviv’s Schilov hospital ICU after an exhaustion relapse following a heart attack two months earlier. Doctors stressed no new heart attack, with Begin to stay for several days for observation as talks to form a Likud led coalition proceed. his condition improved after a five hour sleep and his daughter Hassiya said he felt wonderful.
