Judge sets bail curfew for teen in fatal Iowa City crash

Kesean Ford 18 faced a judge to modify pretrial conditions after a fatal May 27 2023 crash while drag racing with Elijah Seals 18. The court kept GPS monitoring and imposed a 6 PM to 6 AM curfew plus a $30000 cash or surety bail. Ford's house arrest was removed pending trial set for Aug 20.

Iowa City man gets 12 years for fatal-like shooting injuring victim

Alexander O Voudhivong, 23, was sentenced in Johnson County District Court to 12 years after pleading to willful injury causing serious injury and reckless use of a firearm. He shot Anthony Allen eight times in May 2023 after a fight near Clock Tower Parking Ramp.
