Medica Considers Leaving Iowa Individual Health Market
Medica of Minnesota said it may pull out of Iowa's individual health insurance market if ACA changes do not occur. The possible exit would leave thousands of Iowans with few options, as Wellmark and Aetna already plan to stop selling plans in Iowa next year. Medica serves about 14 000 Iowa members and notes market stability is at risk without national action.
