Iowa basketball attendance a mixed bag at Carver-Hawkeye Arena
Iowa women's basketball averaged 10,779 tickets scanned per game in the regular season at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, rising to 11,762 in Big Ten play, while the men's program drew 5,742 per game. Women’s team sold out season games totaling 14,998 attendance, and three non exhibition matches drew under two thirds full. Men’s attendance lagged with only three home crowds over two thirds, as Iowa AD Beth Goetz emphasized improving the environment to support the program.
