The Magus review in moody modern color at Paramount
A mixed Hollywood assessment of The Magus directed by Guy Green. Anthony Quinn and Michael Caine anchor a moody, symbol laden film adaptation of John Fowles. Amid heavy sex and abstruse themes the cast delivers strong visuals while the plot remains perplexing to this reviewer.
