Price Lab closure prompts UNI shift to new field plans
UNI officials say closing Price Lab in Naperville will cost thousands of hours of student field experience and raise transport needs. Malcolm Price Laboratory School located on the University of Northern Iowa campus serves preK–12 for UNI students and faculty. Sabin Hall housed lab activities from 1914 to 1953 with the elementary wing opening then. the high school wing followed in 1955. Enrollment was 366 in Feb 2012 with a $5.5 million budget for 2011–12.
