Eastern Iowa to add new cancer center options at Mercy Cedar Rapids
The Hall Perrine Cancer Center at Mercy Cedar Rapids will open on one floor Monday with a second floor to follow this spring. Executive director Dee Eadie says the facility will offer comprehensive cancer care under one roof. Nearby, University of Iowa health system and other centers have expanded in the Corridor. Critics question the cost of hospital outpatient cancer services and chemotherapy billing.

Mercy Medical Center at 701 10th St SE Cedar Rapids unveils a cancer center costing 24.6 million dollars, spanning 86 000 square feet with 27 infusion chairs and 16 exam rooms. New PCI Medical Pavilion Consolidates at Cedar Rapids Site
The project assembles chemotherapy at the Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Medical Pavilion in Cedar Rapids with PC and St. Luke's Hospital staff. Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center Opens Iowa Clinic
The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics opens a 64,000 square foot clinic and infusion facility in Iowa City.
