Father and son egg barons ordered to prison
Iowa egg magnates Peter DeCoster and Austin Jack DeCoster must serve three months in federal prison for adulterated food linked to a 2010 salmonella outbreak. They were ordered to begin after a May Supreme Court refusal to hear their appeal, with restitution of 83 thousand dollars and one year of supervised release.

Branstad urges transfer for Liu Xiaobo cancer care in China
