Iowa AG appeals injunction against immigration law
Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird filed an appeal to the federal judge's injunction blocking Iowa's new law that would make illegal reentry by noncitizens a state crime. Judge Stephen Locher preliminarily paused the law, with the appeal heading to the 8th Circuit for ruling on preserving or dissolving the injunction.
