Red Cross Teaches First Aid in Cedar Rapids Restaurants
Red Cross instructors have held classes in Cedar Rapids area eateries since June 1 to train staff in choking and CPR techniques. The Grant Wood chapter reports 355 people trained across 18 establishments, with aims to reach about 200 more eateries in Linn and Delaware counties. Martha Carter taught at Gregory's restaurant as others observed Cindy Rove and Judy Cizek, with Patricia Ament nearby.
