Public Hearing Planned on Cedar Rapids UHF Radio Station Contract
Linn County Metropolitan Public Safety Telecommunication Board schedules a public hearing for July 18 at 10 45 a.m. in Cedar Rapids to review proposed plans and contracts for a UHF radio base station system for the Cedar Rapids Police Department and UHF portable radios funded by Iowa Crime Commission and Revenue Sharing funds. The plans and contract forms are on file at the Cedar Rapids Police Department and may be inspected by any interested party who may present objections or evidence at the hearing.
