National Trust to assume Brucemore July 1
The National Trust for Historic Preservation will take over Brucemore on July 1. The 1885 estate with 27 acres, endowed by Margaret Hall, will shift from estate executors to the Trust as plans for public use unfold. A local management council will guide operations and a 12 month manager is to be hired.
