Bible Quote for a Wronged Christian in Abby Column
Dear Abby addresses the misused eye for an eye passage from Matthew 5 38 42 clarifying to resist evil and turn the other cheek while offering a practical approach to handling relatives who disparage a spouse. The letter from a reader requests guidance on systemic derogatory remarks from grandparents about the father. Abby suggests a polite boundary setting with Jimmy and notes the term mistress is outdated, proposing simple terms friend for both partners.
