Five Vietnam veterans with amputations scaled Mt Washington in high winds and deep snow. Led by Leon Dubay, the group faced 40 to 50 foot rock faces and 50 to 60 mph winds on the final ascent. Each climber carried his own gear and prosthetics, with teams supporting base camp and photography.
