A 19-year-old intruder in underwear broke into the Glen Morris home on Squaw Ridge Road near Cedar Rapids at 3 45 a m. Clarence Northrup wrestled with the couple before fleeing. Mrs Morris retrieved a gun and the suspect surrendered. He was arrested nearby and charged with first degree burglary, then transferred to St Luke's Hospital for observation.
