Young Saxophonist Soloist at Municipal Band Concerts
Mark Logan son of Richard and 223 Alma Dr NW will perform Caprice from Improvisation El Caprice by Bozza without accompaniment and Ballade by Reed with the band at 4 p.m. Meth-Wick Manor and 8 p.m. Ellis Park. Logan, a Jefferson high junior, has top state ratings and past festival honors. The band, led by Frank Kluesner, will play a varied program including Sousa marches and a Disney medley. The concerts feature an alto saxophone solo and ensemble performances at both venues.
