ISU appoints Provost Milton Glick as interim president effective Oct 20 after Gordon Eaton resigns to lead Columbia University’s Lamont Observatory. Glick will present a strategic plan to regents in November and submit budget requests to the Iowa Legislature in December while guiding all seven colleges. Eaton praises Glick’s leadership as a smooth transition.
