Born in Bohemia on May 17 1881 he came to the United States 45 years ago and lived in Nebraska earlier. A bricklayer with James Leck Company he belonged to the local bricklayers union. Surviving are his wife Pauline Shultz Herzl and three sisters and five brothers in Bohemia. Services will be held at Brosh chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev Zdenek F Pauk officiating.
