Cubs Go Hex Hunting as Sianis Curse Lingers in Chicago
The column recalls the Billy Goat Curse at Wrigley Field and how Cubs fans once blamed a hex after Billy Sianis tried to seat a goat in the box. The piece then shifts to Olympic diving figures from Cedar Rapids, Kent Ferguson and Matt Scoggin, with Becca Culver connection, and a light aside on pronoun usage and baseball card nostalgia.
