Alliant Energy aims for net zero by 2050 while developing Palo project in Iowa with NextEra Energy Resources. Plans include a 150 MW solar farm near Wever and a 50 MW site near Creston, creating jobs and tax revenue. Palo project to generate about 260 million in Iowa economic impact with 7.2 million annual property taxes over 30 years.
