Shop Hop fosters craft tourism with regionals and prizes
The Shop Hop network runs 16 regional events across 30 states, including the All Iowa Shop Hop from June to July 31 with about 70 stores. Each hop publishes a magazine with a passport, supports exclusive region tied fabrics, and offers 300 to 500 prizes totaling up to 50,000 dollars. Participants visit stores to collect passport stickers, then enter final draws while stores gain measurable economic impact and visitor counts, up to 100,000 in Texas. The Cedar Rapids based team emphasizes store collaboration, strong local workforces, and sustaining brick and mortar shops through experiential shopping and memories with family and friends.
