First Loss for Pascual Perez in Tokyo Bout

In Tokyo Sadao Yaoita upset world flyweight champion Pascual Perez of Argentina with a unanimous decision. Perez, 32, entered with 48 wins and one draw since 1952, but failed to deliver knockdowns as the bout remained cautious until an eighth round toe-to-toe exchange.
