Grain futures end lower on weak demand and stocks

Chicago grain markets fell as soybeans led losses with new lows for several contracts while corn and wheat also declined. Analysts cited weak trading climate, a strong dollar, and subdued demand despite a Census Bureau report showing lower soybean oil stocks and higher October November consumption. The Soviet Union purchase of U S corn provided little support as most grain was already sold.
