Armed woman seizes Pan Am jet in Ohio standoff ends
Ornetta Mays, 42, held seven hostages aboard a Pan American Boeing 727 in Cleveland after a gate assault. SWAT units stormed the craft after a six hour siege, wounding the hijacker and freeing five hostages, including an 8 month old. One gate attendant was lightly wounded.
