Herring May Seek 5 Million Relief Funds Across Tax Sources
Gov Herring indicated he would ask the state legislature to appropriate about 5 million dollars for relief funds, using sales and income taxes and other revenues. He planned to request more after the election, with possible increases tied to property tax changes and three tax laws. Also noted: a marriage of Miss Sanz Veeder and Clarence Swartzendruber at Lower Deer Creek church and their planned home on a local farm.
