New Clayton County Officers Named for 1937 Term
The Gazette reports two new officials join Clayton county government starting in 1937. J. R. Moses of Monona will sit on the board of supervisors, succeeding Charles Fay. George Heins of Monona becomes county attorney, after defeating rival candidates in party nominations and the general election. An Alberta note contrasts 70,000,000 acres suitable for farming with 18,000,000 acres actually cultivated.
