Driver sentenced to four years in fatal March crash

VINTON Iowa Clyde E Milne 61 was sentenced to two consecutive four year terms after pleading guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter for a March 28 1983 two car crash that killed Lu Werning 57 and her daughter Joyce Moeller 30 who was eight months pregnant The plea agreement dropped drunk driving leaving the scene and reckless driving charges Milne also must pay 6220 68 in restitution to Thomas Moeller and an undetermined amount to Delbert Werning The case reflected a plea prior to a potential appeal with the Iowa Supreme Court not specified
