Ex-Convict Seeks Custody of Child

Willie Mae Brown, an ex convict and former prison counselor, seeks custody of Natasha Conley, a six year old born with wide spaced eyes and facial deformities. Doctors at the University of Miami rebuilt Natasha’s face with rib grafts after a lengthy operation. The case drew attention from welfare officials and Natasha’s aunt, who had custody previously, demanding the girl be returned.

Freeman and Anderson Unite in Aberdeen Nuptials

Miss Linda Ann Freeman and John Richard Anderson were married Saturday at 2 o clock at St James United Methodist church in Aberdeen. Rev Stephen Root officiated. The bride wore an A line gown with pearls and lace and carried red roses. Guests included maid of honor Robin Kahler and bridesmaids Ellen Freeman Sheryl Selken and Connie Gahring. Best man James Beachler and groomsmen John Boyle Rick Beachler, Bob Skala. About 100 attended the reception. The bride works for United Fire and Casualty Co. The groom is stationed at Aberdeen with the Army. they will reside at the Twentieth avenue address for now.

Bridge Winners at Noelridge Park Church Monday

In a Monday game at Noelridge Park Christian Church, North-South winners were Linda Touro and Deborah Dreckman first, Grace Eyman and Pat Howard second.
