Robbery at C.R. Liquor Store Ends With Escape

A white male suspect armed with a 16 gauge pump shotgun robbed the C R liquor store at 1612 C street SW Saturday evening. He fired a warning shot, took about $55 from a cash register, then escaped in a nearby car after spending roughly ten minutes inside. Five clerks avoided injuries as they hid or stood near the counter during the ordeal.
