Southeast Iowa Retrievers Club Opens Field Trials for All Dogs
The Southeast Iowa Retrievers Club plans a January field trial season with a new novice class for mixed breeds and non titled dogs. First trial is Jan 11, monthly through September with a free Jan 10 clinic at Elderon Stables offering obedience and retrieval tips. Dues run $10, with members from Cedar Rapids to Bennett and Marshalltown.

18 point buck tops statewide rack reports this fall

Delhi Ice Fisheree At Silver Lake Draws Anglers
Delhi hosts its first ice fisheree at Silver Lake Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by the Delaware County Fish and Game Club, the event offers door prizes every 30 minutes and food. Prizes go to the largest fish, most fish, oldest and youngest anglers, and the furthest distance traveled to fish.
