Fireworks blaze kills night watchman at Mercado in Nuevo Laredo

Two Texans, Santos Hernandez Zapata of Laredo and a 16 year old, face arson charges after a burning cigarette tossed into a fireworks stand ignited a fire that gutted the Mercado shopping center. Night watchman Simon Reyes Puente died, likely from asphyxiation, as flames reached 60 feet high. Sniper kills 9 year old on Natchez Trace Parkway
