Elks Distribute Clothing to 300 Needy Children
Cedar Rapids Elks lodge No. 251 gave clothing to about 500 children in 125 families. Volunteers packed Christmas boxes including stockings, mittens, sweaters, overalls, dresses, shoes and overshoes. Funds for clothing came from a charity stag party committee with many members, who organized dispersal of packages to families after fitting children for items.
