Gohman Realtors Sold to Stanbrough of Des Moines
Cedar Rapids based Gohman Realtors has been sold to Stanbrough Real Estate of Des Moines effective January 1. The two Cedar Rapids offices will operate under the Stanbrough name offering residential commercial and farm sales and property management with a third office added later. A temporary office will open January 15 at 1241 Park Place NE while a new branch at 5020 Council St. NE is built, with completion planned for June. The purchase keeps Gohman founder Thomas R. Kelley as Cedar Rapids sales manager and 40 agents from the existing offices will join the new firm, as Stanbrough aims for 75 Cedar Rapids agents.
