Iowa selects manager for new behavioral health system
Des Moines based Iowa Primary Care Association chosen by Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to oversee the statewide behavioral health system overhaul. The move aligns with Gov. Reynolds plan to unify 32 regions into seven districts and fold disability services under the department to improve access and coordination for low income and underserved patients.
